Cruisin' for a Cure Canada - Brampon, Ontario Car Show for Prostate Cancer

ABOUT US

CRUISIN' FOR A CURE CANADA IS PROUDLY BROUGHT TO YOU BY:

Prostate Cancer Support Brampton, Ontario

We are a volunteer based, not for profit, prostate cancer support group. We provide support and education for newly-diagnosed men and their partners. We offer help to men and their families who are diagnosed with prostate cancer, through fellowship, peer counseling, education and support.

Two major goals of Prostate Cancer Support Brampton are to:

  • support all men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

  • increase awareness of prostate cancer within our community, including encouraging all men 40 years of age and older to undergo annual PSA blood tests and digital rectal exams.

An estimated one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer within his lifetime. Early detection can save YOUR life.

WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?

Prostate Cancer Support Brampton is a proud member of Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada's network of prostate cancer support groups and advocates across the country who aim to provide equitable prostate cancer support across Canada.

Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada (formerly Prostate Cancer Foundation BC) is a grassroots non-profit that provides leadership and resources in prostate cancer support, awareness, and research.

Funds raised through our Cruisin' for a Cure Canada event will go towards supporting their mission of raising awareness about the #1 cancer in Canadian men and ensuring that the many thousands of people affected by prostate cancer, their families, and loved ones can access quality support services no matter where in Canada they live.
